What we actually do
If the puncture is repairable, we plug or patch it on the spot and check the pressure before you leave. If a sidewall is damaged, we fit a new pair — tyres are always replaced two at a time on the same axle, never as a single unit, for safe and even braking. We also fit spare wheels and replace 12V batteries that have gone flat after weeks parked under the pines at a rental house, or after a long winter with nobody driving the car.
We come to the car park, the campsite or the rental house
You don't need to drive anywhere, even on a damaged tyre. Tell us where the car is — a campsite at Claouey or Petit Piquey, a rental house tucked down a sandy track near an oyster village such as L'Herbe or Le Canon, a hotel near the Cap Ferret lighthouse, or a car park by the Grand Crohot ocean beach — and our van comes to you, fully equipped to repair or fit tyres right there.
Prices, told on the phone before we leave
Puncture repair starts from €79, a plug repair from €49, and fitting a new tyre from €35 per wheel (the tyres themselves are quoted separately, always sold in pairs). A spare wheel fitted starts from €39, a new battery fitted from €149. Night-time, Sunday and public holiday call-outs carry a surcharge, which is always confirmed on the phone before the van sets off — never a surprise once the work is done.

If you break down on a motorway, a slip road, a service area or the hard shoulder while driving to the Bassin d'Arcachon, do not wait for us: call 112 or use the orange emergency phone on the roadside. Only approved motorway recovery operators are allowed to work there, for everyone's safety. Once your car has been moved off the motorway — to a service station, a car park or a side road — we take over anywhere on the Cap Ferret peninsula.
